At just 16 years old, Jelaia Mae B. Centeno carries not only her dreams—but a legacy.

Their resources may be limited, but their belief in education is unwavering.
What makes Jelaia Mae’s story even more meaningful is that she is not the first in her family to walk this path.

Jelaia Mae is currently a valedictorian candidate—a reflection of her discipline, intelligence, and commitment to her studies.
With the financial support she receives as a KIDS grantee in the past four years, she carefully manages her allowance to:
Even at a young age, she understands that every bit of support must be maximized—not just for herself, but for those around her.
Jelaia Mae plans to pursue the Science and Technology (STEM) strand in Senior High School—a step toward a future filled with possibilities.

Her journey is not just her own.
It is a continuation of a story that began before her—and one that will inspire those who come after.
