Riley comes from a single-income family with three children. Her parents have often struggled to make ends meet. In 7th grade, she became a beneficiary of K.I.D.S. Foundation and began receiving a quarterly allowance.
This support eased the financial burden on her family considerably and enabled her to focus on her studies. She can now afford the ancillary expenses — transportation, supplies, project costs, etc. — she needs to attend school consistently and excel.
Riley is now the elected Treasurer of Cayetano Arellano High School’s student government. With an equal passion for creativity and math, she envisions a future as a graphic designer or an accountant.
Mindful of the opportunities she has been given, Riley studies hard to make good grades and justify the faith her benefactors have placed in her. Grateful to her benefactors and her parents, she dreams of one day being able to “pay them back” for their sacrifice, generosity, and kindness.
